The Animal Stands Alone
I ride alone on the train.
To see the animals on the plain.
They cannot see me watching there.
I feel the shelter of their fear.
I firmly stand with every man.
To help to clean this polluted land.
But to clear the forest and leave only traces,
leave animals bare without sheltered places.
They have no place to call their.
Nor a place to even roam.
So they climb over our guard and into our yards.
But when we see them standing still.
It makes us angry and we want to kill.
They look at us through horror filled eyes.
Then look toward the heavenly skies.
We do not know what animals think.
But as of now they think we stink.
And who are we to take away.
Their land so great their place to stay.
Though man is considered animal too.
He does not wear but just one shoe.
He covers both feet left and right.
So why leave animals clear in sight.
He roams the land through and through.
To see what foolishness he can do.
To take away the animal land.
Which was given to them
Through the master’s plan.
They would like to live as close to free.
As man does live but not as spree.
To keep their young from harm and danger.
To protect them from the Forest Ranger.
They wander through this world of hate.
To see their forest levigate
It’s sad to see such pitiful sight.
To see the animals
Hide in broad daylight.
